Dear Academy Members
and Friends,
This is to inform you that Executive Board of The Academy of Washington,
Inc. has decided to cancel the 2011-2012 Academy Season. We will wait
and start the the new season and the celebration of our 50th year in the
Fall of 2012 at Club 555.
This is the only fair solution for all of our titleholders and members. I
hope that you will respect this important decision which was made after
much thought.
When things settle down from the holidays, we will be planning some
Academy social events and fundraisers at various clubs around the city
for all of us to attend and participate. So be looking forward to those event notices.
I wish you all a Happy Holiday.
Love, Love, Love,
Mame
